Profile for Scott Tropper

Scott Tropper

Tigers, Forward, #87

Height: 5'7", 170 cm

Date of Birth: January 25

Birth Place: New York, New York

NHL Team: Pittsburgh Penguins

Scott started playing hockey when he was 9. He mostly played roller hockey with friends in neighborhood parks and continued to play roller and floor hockey in high school, but never in any leagues or on organized teams.

Scott's first sporting event that he ever went to was a hockey game at MSG. The Rangers were playing the Bruins. Unfortunately, the Rangers lost that night, but even though Scott's friends wanted to leave early he insisted they stay for the whole game because, "I found the game to be so appealing." Since then Scott has never left an NHL game before it has totally ended (including the announcement of the three stars of the game).

Hockey has always been Scott's favorite sport to play or watch. "When I was younger I wanted to play ice hockey. I asked my parents, at Sky Rink coincidently, if I could. They said the equipment would cost too much (but did buy me my first hockey stick)." Near the end of 2006, Scott decided it was time he make that desire happen. Since then he's been working hard and have finally found himself in a league and on a team.
