Being raised in Canada, Andrej was on skates at an early age. He played hockey throughout his childhood and then played on a university rec team for a couple seasons. A couple years later, Andrej found himself overseas where no hockey facilities existed - this lasted for about 5 years (in different countries). A job opportunity brought Andrej to NYC and he eventually found the Wizards. After a couple seasons, he shifted to the Lions but still enjoys subbing occasionally for the Wizards.
