"Everything is possible!" That's the motto Jan lives by, besides "living life to its fullest potential." She's back playing hockey and loving every minute on the ice. She reports that the big smile and giggle is indeed real.

Jan feels very lucky to receive a warm welcome from the Polar Bears. Her first shift, she got hit hard against the boards, which the ref called, but then the team got up, checked on her, and offered the post-game beer that helped soothe the bruise on her shoulder. "They have my back! This is the team I want to play with," Jan decided right then.

Jan works full-time as a Senior Software Developer while she completes her pre-med courses at night. She strives to maximum her fun in her limited free time, to alleviate the stress, so she has a few other hobbies besides hockey.
