Chris began playing street hockey when only 6 years old. He claims that he started playing goal not because he always enjoyed frozen blocks of rubber barrelling toward his face at 100 mph, but because his original teammates were older, faster and stronger, so that was the only place they would put him. Eventually, however, Chris did fall in love with the position, so much so that besides his duties in front of the net for the New York Lions, Chris played Travel Roller Hockey for the Long Island Rage.

Off the ice, Chris graduated from college in 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Visual Communications and has been working as a graphics designer in Manhattan for the last two years. He recently moved to Park Slope, Brooklyn.
