A native of Baldwin, Long Island, Steven now makes his home on the Upper West Side with his wife of 14 years and three sons (Alex 10, Max 7, and Gabe 5). An entertainment attorney when not scoring goals for the Hotshots, he has produced, executive produced and co-executive produced films for Lions Gate, Universal, and Roc-A-Fella Films. His film credits include Death of a Dynasty, Hi Life, and Empire. His films have been featured at the Sundance, Toronto, and Tribeca film festivals.

While his busy schedule necessitates that he play only a half season with the NYCGHA, Steven is a natural goal scorer and always a presence in the offensive zone. His fondest hockey memory (besides convincing his wife to let him out of the house to chase a puck) is scoring a goal at the Microsoft hockey challenge, assisted by NHL greats Bobby Nystrom and Pat LaFontaine.
